The 3 objects in this painting have special meaning to me. The Carnival glass pitcher was my mother’s. The Thai Benjarong vase came from Bankok where my adopted granddaughter was born. And I found the Desert Peach branch on my run at the Carson River. This beautiful wild shrub is indigenous to and found only in the Eastern Sierra Nevada.
