This oil painting is one I did recently of my favorite uncle. He was out in the barn tending to his cattle and I asked him to pose for me. He asked if he could stand beside his old Ford tractor and then gave me the provence of the vehicle. He clearly loved his old tractor as indicated by the in which he rested his arm on the engine for the photograph. I love painting subjects that are meaningful to me and in which there is a story going on within the picture.
