"Morning Nap" is a watercolor on YUPO, based on my cat, Harvey, who enjoys soaking up the sunshine every morning in the front hall of our house. Harvey is a Maine Coon breed, covered with long, fluffy fur. The substrate for this watercolor, YUPO, lends itself to textured effects so my focus was on the contrasting patterns and textures in the floorboards, wall and area rug.
