Blessed Morning

I was headed to my favorite painting spot, on the bridge over Clam Creek on Jekyll Island, when I spotted a fisherman there. Well, I decided to set up and paint as usual. We began to talk and as the morning unfolded we mostly marveled at how beautiful was the spot and the day and how fortunate we were to be there. It dawned on me how perfectly dressed he was in the role of a fisherman and I asked to take his photo, disclosing that I might want to paint him. He agreed.
